Artist's Comments

This is Liesl. She is not a model, and I had only met her once before while shooting her sister Morgen. Saturday I was shooting with her and her other sister, Colby. They were playing around with a few of my props, when I got the idea for this. I can now see a few things I could have done differently, but I still love this photo. We couldn't play too much as Liesl had to go to work. But I think this is one of the best shots we got.

As always please respect the model, the image and myself.

The focus is dead sharp, Howard. Fantastic lighting. Her expression adds tremendously to the shot of the fetish/cat theme as well.

I like the way you put a collar and lead on her, get her to lick out of a bowl on the floor, broadcast it to the world and then write 'please respect model'! I don't know if the irony was lost on you or not.

I don't know what you mean by respecting the image, but as for the model and the artist... How can you respect someone willing to do that, on the one hand, and how can you respect someone who would do that to another on the other?
:iconkevjohn:
You appear to be under the assumption that anyone willing to pose for a playful photograph such as this is not worthy of anyone's respect, nor is the photographer who shoots it. :spin:

My stance is simply that anyone who would pose for such a photo is somewhat careless of their own dignity. Meanwhile if you take a photo of someone in such an undignified position you are being less than respectful yourself, so it is odd to ask for respect from others!

I don't know about playful, either. Kicking through the autumn leaves or splashing in the surf is playful. Donning a collar and crawling about on the floor is something else.

Wow that is a HUGE TURN ON FOR ME ♥♥♥
